Defense Finance and Accounting Service is Hiring a FINANCIAL SPECIALIST Near Indianapolis, IN
- Who may apply: Current, permanent DFAS employees in the competitive service, Eligible DoD PPP Military Spouse preference applicants and current DFAS VRA employees.
- Position is located in the Information & Technology Directorate Office
Qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-13) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.Specialized Experience is described as: Serving as a staff expert or advisor on finance related organizational programs in order to recommend solutions, apply and interpret regulatory material, analyze and evaluate problems, and coordinate resolutions that have a multi-organizational or agency wide impact; and providing management consulting services and assistance to supported customers in the application of finance related project/program management theories, concepts, principles and standards.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
